Ballroom and Latin Dancing for the “Single” Person

Ballroom and Latin dancing is not just for couples!  While Ballroom and Latin dancing is “couples dancing”, two people dancing together, with one being a leader and the other a follower, you do not need to have a partner to come to a ballroom or latin dance lesson or to a social dance party or event.

Most dance studios and public places that hold dance lessons and open dance parties encourage people without a partner, single people, to come to any and all dance classes as well as to social dance parties on their own.

Often, single people, feel left out of social functions because they are on their own.  They feel awkward, sometimes embarrassed or simply uncomfortable.  This should not be the case.  There are too many lonely people and people who would otherwise be active if they were not on their own, single. Single people need to be outgoing and believe they belong in social settings that seem to be predominately attended by people with partners.

How can you feel more comfortable, less awkward and confident?  Take a dance lesson or two.  Learning to dance is like learning to read or write.  It is an acquired skill.  You will feel less uncomfortable when you know what you are doing.  You do not need to be an expert.  You just need to want to learn to dance and be ok with the level you are at.

Come in today and get started.  You will be happy you did 🙂
